Yoga is an excellent way to "train" for the marathon of labor and motherhood. Practicing Yoga in pregnancy helps to strengthen and stretch muscles, release tension and maintain good posture.
Prenatal yoga also teaches you to relax on command and keep a positive outlook while clearing the mind of the stresses associated with pregnancy and motherhood.

This is a workshop for all levels!
It's a great way to get started in your practice if you are new to Taoist Yoga, but it's also for those of you that have been practicing for a while as Damon will show you advanced variations of postures and elements
In this workshop we will use the five elements of Taoism to flow in both floor and standing postures in one uninterrupted action. The workshop will also examine the cohesive nature of the Taoist practice and its relation to its Indian counterparts.

Ed Zadlo D.Ay (Acharya Premananda) is the first certified Ayurveda/Yoga Acharya in the US. He has studied Vedic Science in the U.S. and India for over 30 years. He has practiced Ayurveda, and taught Yoga and Vedic Studies for over 20 years. Ed lives near Sumneytown, PA, where he has a full time Ayurveda practice and teaches Meditation, Yoga Philosophy, and Vedanta for many ashrams and Yoga centers in the U.S.
ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY FOR YOGA

Explore the anatomy and physiology of the human body as it relates to the science and discipline of yoga.
Cells, organs, systems, structure and function of the body is just the beginning!
A 12 hour didactic and experiential class that lays the foundation of structure and function of the human body for your yoga practice and teaching. We will also integrate the philosophy of yoga with energy anatomy to promote healing of diseases and disorders of the body, mind, and spirit.
We learn best by a full body experience. Come dressed for postures.

Todd Grube is a yoga practitioner, foodie, world traveler and philosopher.
His food is all inspired from his travels in the Mediterranean, India and South East Asia.
All the food is 100% vegan, animal friendly, seasonal and organic when possible. And of course, no refined sugars or flours.
Sattva Foods will supply healthy lunches where everything is cooked fresh with a wonderful variety of vegetables, healthy protein and grains. Your lunch will be ready for pick up every Friday between 11.15 12.15pm or 5-6pm at downdog YOGA in West Reading.
We will ask that all orders must be received by Tuesday at 6pm, no exceptions.

MOM & BABY YOGA/POSTNATAL
6 week program
This yoga class provides an opportunity to restore your mind, body and spirit, while strengthening your bond with your baby and meeting other new moms.
Our skilled instructor helps you safely incorporate your baby into yoga, and the class will help you regain muscle tone, enhance your body image and reduce stress and fatigue. Prior yoga experience is not required.
